I love running, yoga, hiking, spending time with friends and family and going to the beach. I try to live in the moment, get outside and enjoy life! I went into medicine because I truly believe that physicians enter people's lives in the most vulnerable times, and I wanted to make those difficult times as easy and positive as possible. With over 8 years of education beyond high school, I have had enough experience with professors and teachers to learn many different styles of teaching. My extensive educational experience has taught me how to break down information into simpler terms for myself so that I can understand it better. This style of learning has helped me to commit information to memory without the act of memorization (and later forgetting). Because of this, I believe it helps me to be a better tutor because I can better relate information to all types of individuals of all learning styles.
